To letterpress or not?

I have got myself into a little pickle!  I have had the idea in my head of how lovely it would be to do letterpress, but now I am realising I have not much time left and still need to get things signed off by the client.  I don't even have the proper words for the poster and flyer yet!  I think I might have to abandon the idea, but it seems such a shame.  I don't know what to do!
